Wigflex Presents: How to put on your own festival

This is an essential event for anybody who loves electronic music, event management or who aspires to work in the festival or live music and events industry.

Music event producer Avarni will be talking about her role working for local record label and events company Wigflex, and how they have grown from organising small one off parties, to curating ‘Wigflex City Festival’; Nottingham’s first and only multi-disciplinary Music, Arts and Wellbeing festival. The event was recently called one of the ‘best parties in the world’ by The Guardian, and will be taking over Metronome this May for a full-scale AV extravaganza.

Avarni will be discussing the work that goes into organising events with industry-leading electronic music and left-field artists and Dls, both during the multi-venue festival, and as part of other bespoke Arts events that she co-produces across the UK.
